Resale Condition Categories

HOW WE DEFINE CONDITION

We use short-hand acronyms in the title of each of our products so you can quickly see what condition an item is in. The acronyms we use are largely inline with other resale platforms and websites, but for our full definitions please see below:

We divide item condition into 6 categories:

• Brand new with tags (BNWT) – Never worn, never washed. Tags still attached or in its original packaging. No damage, broken fastenings, loose stitching, marks, holes, tears, wash-wear, fading, stains or bobbling (piling).

• Brand new without tags (BNWOT) – As new and never worn or washed. Tags removed or no original packaging. No damage, broken fastenings, loose stitching, marks, holes, tears, wash-wear, fading, stains or bobbling (piling).

• Excellent used condition (EUC) – Lightly worn and washed. No damage, broken fastenings, loose stitching, marks, holes, tears, wash-wear, fading, stains or bobbling (piling).

• Very good used condition (VGUC) – Worn and washed. No damage, broken fastenings, loose stitching, holes or tears. May have very minor wash-wear, fading or bobbling (piling) or tiny tiny marks. 

• Good used condition (GUC) – Worn and washed. No damage, broken fastenings, loose stitching, holes or tears. May have wash-wear, fading or bobbling (piling), or small marks.

• Playwear (PW) – Worn and washed. May have minor damage or visible marks but still fit for purpose, and these will be documented in the product description. May have noticeable wash-wear, fading, bobbling (piling).
